Mister X

One runs, their location gets reported

One against everyone, across the whole city. Mister X never shows on the map — only every few minutes does their location get revealed. The reveal fades slowly, and you end up standing at a crossroads with four others arguing about it.

The rules

• –Mister X's location is revealed every 5 minutes, and every 2 minutes in the second half.
• –The reveal stays visible and fades over time — you can see how old it is.
• –With six or more hunters, the app splits them into squads of 3–5 competing against each other. Can be turned off.
• –Mister X can always see all hunters — the hunters' blind spot balances this out.
• –A caught Mister X becomes a hunter. If everyone's caught, the hunters win. If time runs out, X wins.
• –With 10+ players there are two Mister X, and with 16+ there are three.

Catching: walk up and tag them. The caught player then shows their code, and the hunter scans it — just being nearby isn't enough.
